After the Quake: Columbans Respond in Chile and the U.S.

Following the March 2010 earthquakes in Chile, Columbans living and working in Chile quickly responded to the needs of the people. They shared their immediate reactions and plans to offer aid. Columbans who were missioned previously in Chile responded in the U.S.

I was lucky to get outside and hold on to a fence in the darkness as the earth, trees and buildings around me shook wildly. One is completely helpless, not knowing what is going to happen and trying to catch one’s breath.
