Fr. Martin Koroiciri, a native of Fiji, has been at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Iquique, Chile since November 2022. He is currently working to establish a new parish - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - that will serve the community of migrants who came to the area looking for better lives and opportunities.
Fr. Martin said he enjoys meeting people and learning new cultures and thanks all Columban benefactors "for their work and their love and their support."
