Lord, hear our plea for our Holy Father Pope Francis,
for bishops and clergy, and for all who are engaged
in religious or secular callings.
Bless Your missionaries spreading the good news
of salvation in lands afar.
Strengthen the heavily burdened,
revive hope in the despairing,
grant liberty to victims of injustice and persecution.
Finally, impart wisdom and peace to all people
so that they may grow to love and serve You now and forever.
Amen.
