Father in heaven,
Tonight we stand on the threshold of wonder.
After weeks of waiting and preparation,
we are ready to welcome Your Son
into our hearts and homes.
Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem;
help us make the spiritual journey to meet the newborn King.
Quiet our hearts in these final hours of anticipation.
May we approach the manger with humility and awe,
ready to receive the greatest gift ever given — Your own
beloved Son, wrapped in human flesh for our salvation.
