Almighty God, today joy floods the earth
because Your eternal Word became flesh
and dwelt among us.
In the vulnerability of a newborn child, You revealed
Your infinite love and entered fully into our human experience.
We adore and praise You for this incomprehensible gift.
Help us to keep Christmas in our hearts every day,
remembering that Emmanuel is truly God-With-Us.
May the Christ Child born in Bethlehem
be born anew in our hearts today, and may we
become bearers of his light to all we meet.
