Beloved Father, Saint John rested his head
on the heart of Your Son at the Last Supper
and learned the depths of divine love.
Like John, may we draw close to Jesus
and listen to the beating of his Sacred Heart.
Help us to contemplate Your mysteries
with faith and understanding.
Grant us John's insight to recognize that "God is love"
and that love alone gives meaning to our existence.
May we become beloved disciples
who both receive and radiate Your transforming love.
Amen.
