Lord, as I fast this Lent, let my sacrifice not be empty routine.
May my hunger remind me of those who lack daily bread.
Transform my small offerings into acts of love.
Detach me from selfishness and teach me compassion.
May every sacrifice draw me closer to You
and to my neighbor.
