Gracious God, You are the One who gives life and growth.
Like a field that depends upon both planting and watering,
my life depends completely upon Your loving care.
Teach me not to seek recognition for what I accomplish,
but to serve faithfully and leave the results in Your hands.
May every good work I begin become an offering of love to You.
Through Christ our Lord.
