God of mercy, through Saints Cosmas and Damian,
You blessed the world with physicians
who healed without payment and gave without fear.
May we also give freely of the gifts You’ve entrusted to us.
Bless all who serve the sick today.
May their hands bring comfort and their hearts bring hope.
