St. Mary Magdalene, you were the first to encounter
the Risen Christ and the first to proclaim the joy of the Resurrection.
Pray for me, that I too may recognize Jesus present in my life,
even when he comes in unexpected ways.
Lord, turn my mourning into joy as You did for Mary.
Like her, may I run eagerly to share the Good News
of Your victory over death.
Amen.
