Lord Jesus, You ask me to love even those
who oppose me, hurt me, or misunderstand me.
This command is difficult, but I know that Your grace
can accomplish what my strength cannot.
Heal the wounds caused by conflict, soften my resentments,
and teach me to pray for those who have harmed me.
Keep my heart free from hatred, and make forgiveness
the path by which I follow You.
Amen.
