you praised God with your voice and your life.
Inspire all who create music and art
to use their talents for the glory of God
and the building up of the Church.
May sacred music lift our hearts in worship,
console us in sorrow, and unite us in celebration.
Bless composers, performers, and all
who serve in liturgical music ministries.
Help us to appreciate beauty as a reflection
of God's own beauty, and may all artistic expression
lead souls closer to the source of all truth and beauty.
