O God, merciful Father,
you granted your bishop, Blessed Alvaro Del Portillo
the grace, with our Lady’s help, to be
an exemplary pastor in the service of the Church
and a most faithful son and the successor
of St. Josemaría.
Grant that I may also respond faithfully
to the demands of the Christian vocation,
turning all the circumstances and events of my life
into opportunities to love You
and serve the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
