Sts. Joachim and Anne,
Mary's parents and Jesus' grandparents,
you passed on the faith quietly within your family.
Pray for grandparents and elders everywhere,
that their wisdom and witness may continue
to bless younger generations.
Lord, thank You for the faith handed down to me through others.
Help me to honor those who taught me to pray, and to pass on
that same gift to those who come after me.
