Merciful Father, through the ministry of St. John Eudes,
You inspired devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Draw us ever closer to those fountains of perfect love and mercy.
Purify our hearts of resentment, fear, and selfishness,
replacing them with kindness, patience, and steadfast faith.
May our love for You deepen through prayer and the sacraments,
so that our lives may reflect the tenderness of Christ
to everyone we meet.
