St. Elizabeth, queen and peacemaker,
you used your position not for comfort
but to reconcile enemies and care for the poor.
Teach me to hold loosely to what I have,
that I might give freely to those in need.
Soften my heart toward generosity, especially toward those
with whom I have struggled to find peace.
May I become an instrument of reconciliation in my home,
workplace, and community today.
Amen.
