Lord God, You gave Your Church
the great Doctors Basil and Gregory to defend
the divinity of Christ with courage and intellect.
Through their intercession, grant us
a hunger for Truth and a spirit of humility.
Help us to serve the poor with the zeal of Basil
and to speak of Your beauty with the eloquence of Gregory.
May our lives be a living testimony
to the Orthodoxy we profess.
