O Lord, through Saint Bernard, You gave the Church
a passionate preacher and a heart aflame with love
for the Virgin Mary and Your Cross.
Stir in us that same desire to know You deeply
and love You boldly.
May his words echo in our hearts and bear fruit in holiness.
