Lord Jesus, our Savior, You have made Your mother Mary a faithful follower of God's law and a chosen member of Your Church. Through her prayers, may we continue to grow in Your love. Lord Jesus, King of all the saints, we praise You now and for ever. Amen.

Lord God Almighty, who safely brought us to the beginning of this day, defend us in the same by Your mighty power, that this day we may fall into no sin, but that all our words may so proceed, and all our thoughts and actions may be so directed as to do always that which is just in Your sight. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We like everything to be black and white. We don't like grey areas, but it seems to me that life is mostly lived in grey areas as we struggle to reach truth. I pray for anybody living in the grey areas of life today. Anyone dealing with their wounds. Anyone feeling alone and unloved. I pray that I may always respond with compassion to people and that I may meet compassion in people when i most need it. Amen – By Columban Fr. Eamon Sheridan

Jesus Christ, Lord of all things, You see my heart; You know my desires. Possess all that I am, You alone. I am Your sheep; make me worthy to overcome the evil that tempts me daily. Amen.

Save us, Christ our Savior, by the virtue of Your holy Cross: You Who saved Peter in the sea, have mercy upon us. Mary, Mother of mercy, pray for us, and we shall be delivered; Mary, our advocate, speak for us, and we shall be saved. The Lord justly scourged us for our sins; but Holy Mary, plead for us, for you are our most tender Mother. Mary, in your Jesus have we put our hope: Oh! let us never be confounded.

As down in the sunless retreats of the ocean Sweet flowers are springing no mortal can see, So deep in my soul the still prayer of devotion, Unheard by the world, rises silent to Thee. As still to the star of its worship, though clouded, The needle points faithfully over the dim sea, So dark when I roam in this wintry world shrouded, The hope of my spirit turns trembling to Thee.

Generous God, for all that sustains us; air to breath, warmth and light, food to eat, water to drink, we offer our thanks and praise. For spiritual gifts that bind us together; one people, one body empowered for service we offer our hands and voices. For the Good News of the Gospel; healing and wholeness freedom and justice we offer our hearts in service. Amen

O my God and my all, in Your goodness and mercy, grant that before I die I may regain all the graces which I have lost through my carelessness and folly. Permit me to attain the degree of merit and perfection to which You desire to lead me, and which I failed by my unfaithfulness to reach. Mercifully grant also that others regain the graces which they have lost through my fault. This I humbly beg through the merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Virgin Mary. Amen.

Father in Heaven, You made me Your child and called me to walk in the Light of Christ. Free me from darkness and keep me in the Light of Your Truth. The Light of Jesus has scattered the darkness of hatred and sin. Called to that Light, I ask for Your guidance. Form my life in Your Truth, my heart in Your Love. Through the Holy Eucharist, give me the power of Your Grace that I may walk in the Light of Jesus and serve Him faithfully.

Lord God, we praise you for creating man, and still more for restoring him in Christ. Your Son shared our weakness; may we share his glory, for he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

O most Holy Virgin, immaculate in body and spirit, look kindly on me as I implore your powerful intercession. O most Holy Mother, receive my prayers as I present them to God. O Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, you intercede for us with your Son. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to You. Amen.

Dear God, I spend so much time reliving yesterday or anticipating tomorrow that I lose sight of the only time that is really mine, the present moment. You give today one moment at a time. That's all I have, all I ever will have. Give the faith which knows that each moment contains exactly what is best for me. Give the hope which trusts You enough to forget past failings and future trials. Give the love which makes each moment an anticipation of eternity with You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

Father all-powerful, your gifts of love are countless and your goodness infinite. On Thanksgiving Day we come before you with gratitude for your kindness: open our hearts to concern for our fellow men and women, so that we may share your gifts in loving service. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

O God, mercy and forgiveness are Yours by nature and by right. Receive our humble petitions. Though we are bound tightly by the chain of our sins, set us free by the power of Your great mercy. Amen.
