Columban Daily Prayer

Merciful Father, You know how easily I remember
the wrongs committed against me while forgetting
the mercy You continually show me.
Free my heart from resentment and teach me
the generous forgiveness You ask of Your children.
When another person seeks reconciliation,
help me respond with compassion.
May I never forget that I live by grace, and may the mercy
I receive from You overflow into mercy toward others.
